Saving energy and staying warm in the home

As levels of fuel poverty in the UK continue to soar, it’s increasingly important that Severn Wye continues to expand its domestic work.

We do this by helping those who are struggling the most.

As well as offering the free, impartial and local Warm and Well advice line for residents of Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, Severn Wye also manages a number of projects and schemes aimed at improving the quality of homes, promoting domestic energy efficiency and renewable energy.

Below are some of our most recent examples.

The network is a handy, easy-to-use online database which helps to put individuals, groups and businesses in touch with suitable energy efficiency and renewable energy installers in their area – and offers installers who are seeking to benefit from the Green Deal and ECO the chance of a step ahead.

Achieve is a ground-breaking project run by Severn Wye aimed at lifting people out of unemployment and helping households cut their energy bills at the same time.

Severn Wye’s Warm and Well advice line provides free, impartial and local advice on energy efficiency, including details of grants and financial help available.
