Warm and Well can help you in lots of different ways – from simple energy efficiency advice, to accessing funding for complex home improvements.

To do this, we need to find out a little more about you and the property you live in, so our advisors will need to ask you a series of questions.

You can give us a call and we can do this over the phone. Alternatively, if you have a few spare minutes and would prefer to answer the questions online, please complete the form below.

Fields marked with a * are required fields. Please ensure you select or enter an answer.

Getting work done on my property

The Warm and Well scheme can help if you are considering making improvements to your property. Whatever stage you are at in the process, whether you are just starting out or need help finding an installer, our advisors will be able to help. The Warm and Well advice line offers free, impartial advice on a variety of topics such as insulation, heating and renewable options.

There are currently a number of different ways that improvements can be financed on your home. Whether you are interested in financing the project yourself or looking at finding funding to help, our advisors will be able to guide you through the process. If you are in receipt of certain income or disability related benefits (including pension credit) you may be eligible for grants through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO). There is also help through ECO for properties with solid walls or narrow cavities.

The Green Deal is available to everyone and this can pay for the upfront cost of certain measures, and this will then later be paid back through your fuel bills. Further information on ECO and the Green Deal can be found on the grants page. If you are looking at going through the Green Deal, you will need to have a home energy assessment carried out on your property. When we contact you further we will be able to provide full details on the assessment.

There are a number of questions about your property that need to be answered before an assessment can be carried out. If you have time and are happy to fill these in now, please tick the box below. This will save you time later when we contact you, but if you have any questions or problems filling out the form our advisors will be able to help.

Home energy advice visits

The Warm and Well scheme has a number of trained advisors who are able to carry out home visits. During a home visit an advisor will attend a property and provide advice on how you could save energy in the home. The advisors will be able to provide information on how you can change habits to save energy and the best use of existing heating systems. Home visits are limited so they are offered to those who are finding it difficult to pay their fuel bills and to vulnerable clients. If you feel you would benefit from a home visit or you know somebody else who would, please fill in the form below and an advisor will be in contact to discuss this further.

Events

The Warm and Well scheme attends a number of events through the year ranging from events in village halls to county fairs. Over the past year we have attended events in libraries, village fetes, county fairs, eco or green days at local businesses, lunch clubs and many more. Please find the link above to our events calendar where you can find information on where we have been previously and any future events we will be attending.

If you would like us to attend an event in your area, please fill in the box below with your details and someone will be in contact to discuss this further.
