The Installer Network comprises companies who carry out sustainable energy works in the domestic, community, business and public sectors. Severn Wye has no commercial involvement with any of the companies in the Installer Network. Companies do not pay any membership fees to join. As an independent charity, Severn Wye cannot make specific recommendations for particular companies, either within or outside the Installer Network.
The contractual arrangement for each renewable energy installation including cost, quality, performance and maintenance is a direct contract between the client and installation company only. Severn Wye Energy Agency does not accept any liability for work undertaken by companies participating in the Sustainable Energy Installer Network. For renewables installations, the REAL quality assurance scheme provides an arbitration service in case of disputes, which is free in the first instance to both installer and clients.
