The Bio-NETT project intends to develop a supportive framework for encouraging the growth of local markets for bio-fuels as a low carbon fuel for public sector transport fleets across the EU.
The project will pilot the use of biofuels in public sector fleets to promote and raise the profile of biofuels across the region. This will be supported by capacity building activities including training, opportunities for information exchange through the forum and development of best practice guidance.

The Severn Wye Energy Agency is responsible for co-ordinating the development of regional activity in the South West region of the UK.
As part of this, a South West Biofuels Forum has been set up, to establish a network of potential actors in the market, covering the whole supply chain from growers, through fuel production and distribution to end users.
