South Gloucestershire
Renewable Energy Advice Service

The Partnership

SG Futurenergy is a partnership between South Gloucestershire Council and Severn Wye Energy Agency. It provides an advice service to help householders find out if domestic renewable energy is a good option for them, decide on the most suitable technology, and offers grant support to make installation more cost effective. Grant availability has just been extended past March 2010, with grants being valid for 3 or 6 months after approval, depending on technology (extensions may be granted in some circumstances).

The scheme offers:

Low-interest Loans

Renewable energy loans are offered separately, under a joint scheme with Wessex Home Improvement Loans. The loan rates are subsidised by the council, and various payment options are available.
