Kaye joined the agency in 2000, after three years as Energy Efficiency Coordinator for Stroud District Council. She has an excellent track record in developing and running local energy efficiency projects, and has gained a reputation for turning a challenge into a resounding success. The tremendous progress of the EEAC under her management, achieving maximum activity levels for 2002-3, is just another example of this phenomenon!

An important feature of Kaye's work at Stroud was to reach the wider community, developing projects that were partnerships between the statutory, voluntary and private sectors. She was also a significant partner in bringing together a forum of Home Energy Conservation Act officers in Gloucestershire, a group which has been responsible for several joint initiatives including two successful HECAction bids and the development of a joint strategy for affordable warmth.

With a background in sales, production control and local newspapers, Kaye brings important organisational, media and marketing skills to Severn Wye. Kaye has two children of school age and is an active member of her community.
