telephone: (01594) 545369

With a background in health promotion, Jennie brought new skills to the SWEA team when she joined in April 2003. After five years at the Forest of Dean District Council as Health and Environment Project Officer, her understanding of Council services, partnership working and the links between housing and affordable warmth as major determinants of health status, provide an important perspective on the role of the Local Authority Support Programme.

Jennie began a friendship with Severn Wye Agency in 2001 when she developed and organised a series of health and housing seminars for the Council, in which the agency played an active part. Jennie has a history of working across organisations and council departments on antipoverty and sustainability issues. Her earlier roles within GUIDE information service have given her a broad awareness of the range of health and social issues and needs, and the services framework within Gloucestershire.
