The DIY Energy Savers scheme offers a 25% cash back grant to householders who install energy saving measures on a DIY basis. All grants are subject to availability of funding |
The scheme complements existing grants for professionally installed measures and offers an alternative route for those who want to install measures themselves. The DIY Energy Savers scheme offers a wider range of measures than most installed schemes. The scheme also aims to promote greater awareness of the environmental impact of our daily lives by encouraging people to consider energy efficiency when they are doing DIY. |
The grant is available to all homeowners and private tenants[1] in the South West, regardless of age or income. There is no maximum grant so householders are encouraged to install as many energy saving measures as possible. |
