Affordable Warmth Partners

The severn "energy conservation authorities" which joined forces to develop this strategy are Cheltenham Borough Council, Cotswold District Council, Forest of Dean District Council, Gloucester City Council, South Gloucestershire Council, Stroud District Council and Tewksbury Borough Council. They have been supported in the process by the Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust and many other community organisations and groups.

The Severn Wye Energy Agency Ltd. (SWEA) has been closely involved with this partnership since its inception and it continues to play a large part in the delievery of the action plan and the further development of the partnership itself. SWEA is a non-profit company and registered charity which aims to promote sustainable energy and affordable warmth through partnership, awareness-raising, innovation and strategic action. Building out from its origins in the Forest of Dean, SWEA is active in South West England and Wales.
